High Hopes in High Heels

I have been working my tooshie off at work lately. It shows because my ass has gotten bigger (bc I do not have time to work out and I eat) and because I never see any of my friends of family. It paid off. I got a promotion. Well sort of. I have been given a REALLY great opportunity at work. I am overseeing the largest walk site in my non profit's chapter. Over 3,500 people will participate in this walk and it's responsibility to make sure it goes off without a hitch. I'm pretty pumped because last year my biggest site had 600 participants. Anyway, I'm excited, it's a great opportunity for me and guess what, I'm going to kick some mother f'n ass. whoop whoop. Cheers...to ME! :)

This morning Nicky Paul and I woke up after a very successful fundraiser we held for our Brain Cancer Walk Team. ( Learn more about that here ) Anyhow, this morning Nick just picked up his guitar and started strumming so I said, hey you, teach me. and He did it. Dope...Cross you off #15. :) "Shoe gazer" that's what Nick called me because I'm looking down and the guitar while playing... I'll put a video on this post when I'm actually able to play without messing up a ga-gillion times.  Playing Nick's guitar. He built that beaut himself. Its gorgeous. keep on keepin' on :)

 8/4/12 Mikimoto with NP  #17 Eat sushi and learn to like it. Welp. I did it. I ate it and it wasn't so bad. NP and I went out to dinner on Saturday to celebrate our 1 year anniversary at Mikimoto. (insert aww here)*  ANYHOW, I ate just one spicy tuna roll. And by my expert sushi bf's standard its pretty time that I ate that one. Though I may look like someone is torturing me, they're not I did it. and ya know what, I think I'll eat more sushi. This healthy stuff ain't so bad. Ate sushi AGAIN on aug 10 at Izumi. The uncooked shit too. yea look at me almost 30 and finally growing up! Went with 2 best buds and NP. Guess What?! I love sushi. Went to Izumi again and Umai Umai in Center City Philly. If you ever get the chance to do Umai, for the LOVE of God, GET THE GODZILLA ROLL. Its got honey and strawberry. Yes. (cue the diaper commerical jingle "I'm a big kid now") Except for red grapes, i ate some today and my tongue swelled up. the fu** I...

It's been quite some time since I posted. My apologies...actually no. The reason I havent been posting is...I have been SO busy being happy, healthy and in love. true. Job of my dreams, met the love of my life and I am healthier. What else more could I ask for? :) anywho, for the next year (less than actually) I am going to document my life, the last year of my 20s. Particularly things I would like to do before I turn 30. I have started to complie a list of things/places I'd like to visit/see. I actually started the list about a year ago. But I havent completed it yet. But here's what I have thusfar. Give me an idea..Something YOU'VE always wanted to do..and let's conquer it together! :) 12 idea/things left!  *Update - Will not be visiting Europe before I turn 30. My Cioci Jenny said "Dimples are where she was kissed by an angel." I was lucky enough to be kissed 3 times. :) Loved Jason Mraz's idea...i borrowed it.
